Keeping direct sunlight from hitting your leather seats will keep them from drying out and fading. If you park your car in the sun at work or in front of your home, you can use a sun blocker for your windshield. The cardboard or plastic ones work great.
Using a high quality leather cleaner and conditioner will put back oils and moisturizers your leather seats need to stay soft, and keep from cracking. This should be done every 3 months or depending on your weather conditions in your area. You can prevent drying and cracking by keep your seats clean and conditioned. Remember to use a soft cloth like old t-shirts or a microfiber cloth, never use paper towels.
In the heat of the summer, you should crack the windows just a bit. This will let the heat out and keep the pressure from building up inside your automobile. Even if temperatures are in 70’s outside, the inside of your car can easily heat up to 100 degrees or higher in the sun. this will help keep your seat from drying out.
